Palm Beach United

Rodrigo Suarez enters his second season at Palm Beach United. Coach Suarez came to Palm Beach United from Palm Beach Atlantic University where he served as the associated head coach for 5 years. Coach Suarez associated head coach Brian McMahon with the daily operations of the program including practice sessions, travel, scouting, recruiting and other duties as assigned. In his second year as the assistant coach, PBA won Regionals for first team in school history and lost in quarter finals of Nationals against the 2015 NCAA DII National Champions Pfeiffer University.

During his 5 years at Palm Beach Atlantic University, the team won the Sunshine State Conference three years in a row and advanced to NCAA DII Nationals for four years in a row. In addition, more than 10 of his former players have signed professional contracts after their time at PBA.

In addition, Coach Suarez has a lot of experience in youth soccer. He has been coaching boys and girls teams for almost 10 years.

Coach Suarez graduated from Belhaven (Miss.) University where he played for two seasons (2012 and 2013). In 2012, Belhaven won the NAIA National Championship and  Suarez was one of the leaders of that team. He was an All-Conference center-back a year later as a senior.

Coach Suarez is very excited for the opportunity to keep working with talented young players at Palm Beach United.
